Fans of the band will recall similar protests plagued the band after their 2003 hit Fight the Devil, when a group of right-wing Christian fanatics failed to stop the song from being aired on a Michigan radio station, as well as a website run by a pastor who claimed the band "sows seeds of evil."
Lead singer Azrael explained, "After the murder of (ex-Pantera guitarist) Dimebag Darrell, we take these threats very seriously. The incident is under investigation and we hope to see everyone very soon."
In a New Year's Eve release party here on angelrage.com in the VIP Room, Angelrage members Azrael, Sammael, and Cassiel talked about the new CD and their future plans.
