New Singer Revealed
				After recent speculation of personel changes, Angelrage guitarist Raphael confirmed today that the band will be heading into the studio to record it's full length debut with a new vocalist! After a nationwide search, the group found the new voice of Angelrage in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The quartet, who use the names of the four best-known archangels, Raphael, Gabriel, Uriel, and Michael, say they will also be adding a keyboardist to record the self-titled cd, which Raphael descibes as "progressive metal". The shakeup has upset some longtime fans who wonder if the new singer will be able to do the vocal gymnastics heard on the band's ep Fight The Devil, but the band assures us
					that the as yet unnamed vocalist "will make you forget all about anything we have done before! This decision was made very carefully. We had singers from all over America who wanted a shot. As soon as I heard this guy sing, it just clicked. He is the voice of Angelrage!" After flying in from Miami to audition for the band, the newest Archangel sang a couple of songs from the group's ep before being asked out of the blue to sing an Italian Opera piece, accapella. Raphael was so impressed he gave him the job on the spot. The guitarist adds, "Our original singer was not willing to make the commitment to Angelrage I needed from him, and after everything I have gone through to make this happen, nothing, and I mean nothing, is going to stop us." It is said that several songs are already written, but it is unclear whether any of the songs from Fight The Devil will make it onto the CD.    Fans were also a bit at a loss to understand what happened to the band's announced plans to record the much-touted No Peace To The Wicked, but Raphael explains, "It's still in the works. It's already written, and we will probably record it after we are finished with the first Angelrage full length, but I think it's important to first establish this unit as THE quintessential lineup for us, and take the next step together to meet our destiny."
