Protesters gathered recently in a small town in Michigan to protest local radio stations there who have played Angelrage's #1 smash hit "Fight The Devil". The group, consisting mainly of parishoners of several area churces, say that the band's violent artwork and music bear the clear mark of the devil himself, and they are going to do something about it. One protester was quoted as saying, "This music belongs to the devil. There is no such thing as Christian rock music any more than there could be Christian pornography. This demonic, deceptive group needs to be stopped before they take our children to Hell with them!" The protesters allegedly smashed Angelrage CDs and chanted anti-rock slogans but were otherwise peaceful and no arrests were reported. |
